This week we had the joy of welcoming four academics from the National Institute of Education, Singapore to St John’s College in Oxford.
The National Institute of Education (NIE) is an autonomous institute within Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. It is the national teacher education institute and an integral part of Singapore’s education system.
NIE's position as a research-intensive technological university promotes an interdisciplinary approach to research which was very synergistic with the goals of AIEOU. As you can imagine, we enjoyed a rich and rewarding conversation.
Thank you Assoc Prof Chua Bee Leng, Assoc Prof Tan Seng Chee, Assoc Prof Chen Wenli and Asst Prof Edwin Chng for travelling to Oxford and meeting with us. We look forward to the return visit.
